By creating an account or using Help The Hive, you agree to these Terms.
Help The Hive provides tools designed to help users:
Learn about government-assistance programs
Prepare supported benefit application forms
Organize household budgets and financial information
Plan meals and grocery spending
Track pantry items
Use Penny, our AI assistant
Help The Hive is a private technology company and is not a government agency.
Unless expressly stated in connection with a specific partnership or program, Help The Hive is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any federal, state, or local government agency.
We do not determine eligibility, approve benefits, issue benefits, or guarantee that you will qualify for any government program.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Certain features, including financial-account linking and benefit-application autofill, may be limited to users age 18 or older.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity under your account and must not access another person's account without authorization.
Government-program rules, income limits, application procedures, and schedules may change and may vary by location.
Help The Hive provides informational and organizational tools but does not guarantee that program information is complete, current, or applicable to you.
Always confirm important information with the government agency responsible for the program.
Help The Hive may use information you provide to prefill supported benefit application forms.
You are responsible for reviewing every field before submitting an application.
Help The Hive does not guarantee that a prepared form is complete or accurate and does not guarantee approval.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Help The Hive does not submit applications to government agencies on your behalf.
Help The Hive's budgeting and financial tools are educational and organizational tools.
They are not financial, investment, tax, credit, or accounting advice.
Financial-account connections may be provided through Plaid. Information displayed in Help The Hive may be delayed or incomplete. Your financial institution's records control.
Penny is an AI-powered assistant.
Penny is not a government caseworker, lawyer, financial advisor, tax professional, doctor, or other licensed professional.
AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Verify important information before acting on it.
Meal plans, recipes, pantry tools, and nutrition information are general planning tools.
They are not medical advice or medical nutrition therapy.
You are responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, food safety, and whether recommendations are appropriate for you or your household.
Help The Hive may link to or integrate with government websites, retailers, financial institutions, Plaid, Apple, Google, and other third-party services.
Those services maintain their own terms, privacy practices, prices, and policies.
Help The Hive may offer free and paid subscription plans.
Pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms are described in our Subscription & Billing Terms.
You may not use Help The Hive to:
Break the law
Commit fraud
Submit knowingly false benefit information
Access another person's information without permission
Attack or interfere with our systems
Circumvent usage limits or billing
Scrape Help The Hive without authorization
Impersonate Help The Hive or a government agency
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
Help The Hive, Penny, our software, designs, logos, text, graphics, and other materials are owned by Help The Hive or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
You may use the Services for personal use in accordance with these Terms.
You may not copy, resell, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Help The Hive except where permitted by law or with our written permission.
You retain ownership of information and content you provide.
You give Help The Hive permission to host, store, process, and display that information as reasonably necessary to operate the Services and as described in our Privacy Policy.
Help The Hive is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee:
Approval for benefits
Accuracy of every government-program detail
Accuracy of Penny responses
Accuracy of connected financial information
Availability of every feature
Any particular savings or financial result
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Help The Hive will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features of Help The Hive.
We may also update these Terms and will provide additional notice where required.
You may stop using Help The Hive and delete your account at any time.
These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and, where permitted, the laws of the State of Delaware.
